Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dr. Israel Crespo completed his B.S. in Science at the University of Puerto Rico before attending their School of Medicine. At this time, he moved to the United States to do his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at William Beaumont AMC in El Paso, Texas. Dr. Crespo then relocated to Washington, D.C., for his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Walter Reed AMC.
His professional memberships include the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians and the American College of Gastroenterology. Dr. Crespo is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Crespo currently lives in Lutz, Fla. He is married and has two lovely children.
