Born in Puerto Rico, Dr. Angel Rosario graduated with a B.S. in Biology and Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico. He received his medical degree from the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine also in Puerto Rico. At this time, Dr. Rosario left for the United States and did his Internship at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio. He completed his first two years of Residency in Internal Medicine at St. Elizabeth Hospital and then returned to the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine for his third year. Finally, Dr. Rosario did a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Rosario has extensive military experience, and was honored to receive the U.S. Army Service Ribbon and Commendation Medal.
